Hi there,
Born in Bogotá, Colombia.
Yenny LeDoux, is a representational Oil Painting Artist based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her studies of traditional painting techniques include College studies in Colombia, classes at the Renaissance Center in Dickson, TN and tutoring with a recognized artist Shirley Pharris in Hermitage, TN, as well as different workshops around the USA.
Frequent traveling has provided her rich opportunities for capturing the light and color of locations in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Brazil, The Bahamas, Rosario Islands, Aruba and many states in the USA. Yenny has a special interest in pure color that results in vibrant paintings with strong poetic energy. She uses her own photographs to recreate them with Oil. She has also added acrylic to her painting techniques.
Having graduated from Private Universities in Bogota, Colombia, Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and finished a Master Degree on Website Design, she has combined her intellectual knowledge in Marketing, Photography, Digital Image, Website design and Art to work in what she enjoys the most. She works from her heart and gives her best to each painting as well as her photography work. She has a studio at home and keeps working on her professional development everyday bringing new ideas to her creations. She paints for herself, her family, her friends, her colleagues and also does commission work. She has also donated some pieces to charities such as the Humane Society in Dickson, The GJCC, and "La Sociedad Defensora de Animales" in Colombia, Private schools such Saint henry School and Ensworth. Her latest work, 4 large pieces, can be seen in an Internationally traveling Show by Wishing Chair Productions and it is performed at various Public Schools in Nashville. This production, called “Popol Wuj” (The Amazing Twins) is sponsored by Vanderbilt Center of Studies for Latin America.
Yenny currently lives in Nashville but keeps traveling around the country, her 2 adorable kids, Mateo 3 yo and Valentina 11 yo, who bring energy and inspiration to her life.

Hand Painted FACE MASKS
Do what is right and wear a mask....During the Pandemic!
We have been living in crazy times for over a year now!! Yenny started painting face masks to give her kids a better fit and feel since wearing masks are a way of life now. Protecting themselves and others while at school was critical. Valentina wanted a balerina, a bear, and a princess. Mateo wanted a monster truck, an excavator, and a train. It all made sense and brought a smile to their faces. She then designed some masks for her husband's business. Pretty soon friends and others just started comissioning her to paint their pets, their favorite animals, babies, etc. It has been a fun journey painting these small masks giving Yenny the opportunity to use a brush and use her imagination every day.
