I am passionate about all kinds of art.  I am most drawn to painting with oil and photographing nature.  I have been exploring color by drawing and painting since I was a child.  I love utilizing a broad range of colors, just as there is a broad range of human emotions.  My favorite color is purple.  It expresses the balance of calming blue mixed with energizing red.  It is a magical color that uplifts spirits and encourages imagination.  I strive to have my artwork exhibit beauty, femininity, and grace.   Painting enables me to create my own story out of seemingly nothing, with endless possibilities.  All of my heart and soul goes in to my creations.  

Painting has transformed my life through the years.  I have come to appreciate small details in the world around us, and realize that all of these pieces make up a much greater whole.  My path as an artist has been a beautiful journey influenced by each experience, whether positive or negative.  Each painting represents how I choose to view what is going on around me and how I respond to these experiences. Painting and photography enable me to appreciate the “bigger picture” of what is important in life.  I like to create an imaginary world that renders my subjects in a unique way, such as using unusual colors and perspectives that gives people a new perspective to consider.

 I often travel to see breathtaking and inspiring places that remind me how God’s creations are perfect.  I enjoy surrounding myself with beautiful scenery.  This inspires me to create artwork that encourages people to feel serenity.  I hope that you will enjoy my artwork and it will inspire you.
